Fired.

Question Posted Wednesday November 11 2009, 11:11 pm

My last job was very racist..or atleast it dealt with a lot of people who were very racist and discriminating towards me..I was framed and fired. Now 3 months later I'm trying to apply for the same company but in a diffrent location..my only problem is what to write in the space "if fired please explain" part of the online application. I'd leave it blank but they'd find out about me being fired when they pull up my record..I know being fired lowers my chances of even getting a first interview but it doesn't hurt to try right? ..

I'm not completely sure how you should approach this.. But, if it were me. I'd write "Please contact me for an explanation." If you just left it blank, it could hurt your chances more since they would think you were trying to deny it and no one likes a liar.

No it doesn't hurt to try it's worth a shot if it doesn't go the way you wanted you still know that you tried trying is better then not doing anything at all i'd explain the situation of you being fired and say that you were framed and there were others who were discriminating aganist you both of those aren't right to do you should defend and stick up for yourself see what happens
i wouldn't get discouraged i'd go for it things may turn out completely different then you thought they would! :)
