new years eve fancy dress
This new years eves is the first one I'm not spending at home, my boyfriends family have a party every year, so I need to shop for a dress! :)
I have no idea what colour or style or anything to look for >.<
I have (dyed) black hair, bright blue eyes, freckles, kind of big build around a size 12 or 14 and pale skin.
My boyfriend says blue or black looks good on me, but just wanted some girls opinions :) so any help would be grateful :D

You are very similar to me. Jewel tones and saturated colours would look good on you. Or you could try the 'opposites attract' look to make you eyes pop. You have blue eyes so a dark purple would look nice. other colours you could pull off very well could be
- Saphire blue
- red
- goldish yellow
- torquiose blue
- emerald green
Also since you have curves i would say to go with an a-line dress with an empire waist. An a-line is a dress that is fitted around the bust and waist, and flaires out like a bell over your hips. An empire waist is a dress with a band or belt that goes around the slimest part of you waist. (usually under your bustline). It accentuates your bust and camoflages your hips/thighs/tummy.
