Things to do at my Birthday Party
I'm having a party at my house for my 17th birthday and it's about a month away. There'll be around 28-35 people. I already have basic ideas of what I'm doing as far a having music playing and having a lot of food. My parents will be home so obviously there'll be no drinking, and I really don't drink and go to big parties to begin with. I am however thinking of doing virgin pina coladas so hopefully that'll work out. This is supposed to be just a hang out and talk type of party, nothing wild. And I know sometimes parties like that start out kindof quiet and boring but then unravel and things start to become fun on their own. I know this because I had a party at my house last year and that basically happened with less people than I'm having this year. But just in case I'd like to have some ideas of something fun to do during the party. All ideas will be considered, but here's just a list of things to keep in mind:
-Obviously nothing involving drinking
-My parents will be home, so they may or may not be in and out of the area.
-I don't like cheesy things like themes or cheesy games. I really just don't like it when things are cheesy, so no cheesy suggestions haha.
-The guy I like will (hopefully) be there, and he knows I like him but he doesn't really like me that way and we're still good friends. He does like someone else right now, but I still want to maybe do something that'll get him to like me. So along with ideas of things to do, some ways of subtly trying to get him to like me that day would be appreciated

That sounds pretty cool. Haha. but first things first..wear an absolutely gorgeous outfit. you just have to. Haha. For some odd reason at my birthday party ((my brother was there)) all the guys i invited wanted to wrestle with my brother ((those wierdos)) O.o that may spark an idea for you but i dont know ((just throwing that out there)) Im not a fan of themes either, cuz they make things seem..ehh. If you know what i mean. What you could do is have a prize draw kind of thing. you can buy a roll of tickets ((usually at Wal-Mart)) and then pick a bunch of numbers at random out of those tickets and put them in a container. when people come to your party give them
a few tickets and then after about an hour commence with the prize draw!!! (woo) but get awesome prizes of course. nothing dumb like a stuffed animal :/ if you can get a band to play or if you are broke like me ((lol)) actually start singing yourself ((yaay mini-concert)) lol. these ideas pretty much are what you make them. i hope i helped at least a little :]
