I was reading the reasons we ban people, and I noticed this one:
•Answering a question with "Just Google it!" or any variation on that theme.
Does that mean I can be banned for telling them to use google, and putting in a search box with my answer? I do that a lot and didn't think it was abusive at all...
It is kinda like this: Someone searches google. They find something kinda like what they were after on advicenators. They then ask their specific question on advicenators... and you tell them to go back to google.
Not helpful.
It is really important to remember that if someone isn't mature enough to formulate a good question, then they aren't likely to be able to create and properly refine a google search. See what I mean?
Also, many people searched google and didn't understand the results they found. That is why they are here. So if they come because they need help understanding what they found, and you send them back to what they obvioulsy don't understand, then how are you helping them?
