so confused
ok so there is this guy that i really like and he give hints to that he is into me too. it just seems like the only time he talks to me is when its just me and him but i dont know cuz when he is around his friends i guess i really never try to talk to him cuz ive had so many bad relationships and i just kind of back away. im so confused on what to do i dont want to get hurt.....

:/ aww yeah, I know how you feel. I've been hurt alot in my life too with relationships. and I made the mistake of letting that get to me.. don't make that mistake. Everything in your life is a risk, and if you don't go for it, you'll always be thinking, "what if i had let myself like him?" and do you really want to be thinking that for a long time ? I promise you, not every guy is going to hurt you. Not every guy is an asshole. My boyfriend is living proof of that. You just need to let go of your fears and try not to be afraid. I know, you're probably thinking, "yeah easy for you to say.." but really, it's not easy for me to say. It WASNT, but I couldn't let the fact that I didnt want to get hurt keep me from being happy.
If you are really that uncomfortable, do what I did. Talk to the guy. Tell him that you might be developing some feelings for him, whether or not he is feeling the same way, and that you have been in bad relationships and that you're scared of being hurt.
... he'll understand .. if he's a good guy. and if he isn't, then he's not worth it and you save yourself some pain. it's the best way to tell if a guy is sincere or not. but honestly? just start talking to him and his friends. Trick your mind into thinking you won't get hurt, and you won't. I know that for a fact. You just have to go for it. If you don't try, you'll never know. You sound like an awesome person, and if this guy knows ANYTHING, he'll be smart and treat you the way you deserve to be treated :]
