Okay. So I've been with this guy since October of 2006. He is my love. My life. My everything. I've never loved someone more. Well, we recently broke up, because his parents are not very fond of me anymore because of some stuff that has happened in the past. Long storiess. And it's hard to have a relationship where parents don't like you, ya know what I'm sayin? So it was better sooner than later I guess. Well here's the thing. We still talk all the time, which I love. And we occasionally hook up and stuff, because well, I love him a lot, and I know he loves me. But usually after a breakup with him, we don't talk for a while, because I can never handle the thought of us being "just friends". Well, this time feels kind of different. I think I am actually accepting it, which I never thought I would do, ever. Like I said, we occasionally hook up, like kiss and we cuddle, and sometimes we have sex, which don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me at all. If anything I'm mostly the one who starts it, because I love to be close to him. And he says he didn't break up with me because he didn't want to be with me, because he still does. So that's why he loves to kiss me and be close to me because it's still something special that he can share with me..that's what he says to me. And ya know, I do believe him. I know he's not lying, and I can see in his eyes that he loves me. I guess what I'm getting at is, what would you call us?? We're not together anymore, but when we hang out, he still shows affection and love to me, even around alll his friends!! We kiss, sometimes even have sex, and just pretty much, we're super close. Something I never thought would happen after a breakupp. I don't even understand myself. How am I okay with all this? haha. What are some thoughts? I'd love to hear anything on this. Is it wrong? What would you call my situation?

Well the best deffinition i can give for what you have here is sort of a more extreme fwb (freinds with benifits) relationship.
It's not nessicarily wrong, if your both alright with it, and it might even be what you both need right now. But you should know that it cant last this way and some time it will end in one of 3 ways. You two will either get back together, stop the 'benifits' all together, or one of you will find someone new and it will end on a sad note.
My best advice would be to be carful with this one, but to enjoy things the way they are if your truly ok with them.
