Hopeless Romantic (kinda long, sorry)

Question Posted Thursday September 17 2009, 9:36 pm

Female 15, Softmor in High school. Seth (my best friend/crush) is 18, Senior in High school. We live in USA, VA.
Me and Seth have been besties for 2 years now. My crush on him makes me wonder if it'd ever work out, when were out & about together people always say that we look like a couple. He doesn't know I like him, yet. I know there might be issues like: Maturity, Age/legal stuff, ect. But we are so close... I can't help but wonder, a few people say the odds are I've fallen in love. Not only that, his younger sister Lily keeps telling me that we look like a married couple >.< and of course he always responds with a half-smile on his face. Does that mean he likes me back?? So, my two questions are: 'Does he like me?' and 'Would we even last?'
Thanks ahead of time, I'm grateful for it. -Gabriella

He might smile when his little sister says that because he just doesnt wanna be rude and act weirded out by it. Or he wasn't weirded out at all because he knows your relationship is nothing like that. Do he act jealous when you talk about other guys? Do you think he has any idea that you like him? Because if he knew or even thought there was a chance or you being more than friends he would've said something by now. I would say wait for him to say something or SUBTLY give him tests or hints. You don't want to make the friendship awkward. If he did go for it, you have been friends for 2 years, you can stay in a relationship for a long time. But don't let some fairytale fantasy urge you to tell him. He might not be willing to play the part of prince charming.

Psh You Better Get That Lol. Well What I'm Saying Is That I'm A Huge Hopeless Romantic Haha. I'm Always Dreaming Of The One I Will Be With Forever And He Just So happened To Be My Best Friend. And He Admitted After A While That He Also Liked Me :] So We Are Dating Now. I Say Don't Wait For Your Friend To Make The Move..Make The Move Yourself :] If He Smiles At What His Little Sister Says, He Might Not Even Be Knowing He's Smiling He Could Just've Started All Of A Sudden Because He LIKES The Fact That She Thinks That :] I'm Pretty Sure he Wants TO Be With You, Love. You Just Have To Make The Move :] Hope I Helped :]
