any bug experts here? :D
There is the creepiest bug in my house. it is black & yellow. i think it may be a beetle, but i really know nothing about bugs so i don't know. on its back is the yellow & it looks similar to a W. but it also has other little lines, but when i looked at it, i thought it looked like a W. does anybody know what this is????? i'm scared to kill it, because it has yellow.. and isn't yellow a warning sign its dangerous or something??? i heard that somewhere... what should i do? anybody know what it is??

but the black and yellow one appears to be in the genus Megacyllene that includes the locust borer, Megacyllene robinae. Cerambycids sometimes emerge from firewood brought into houses, and occasionally from untreated lumber as well.
