Lumineers

Question Posted Wednesday August 19 2009, 10:56 pm

How much do lumineers cost? How much would they cost for only two teeth, the two front teeth? My mom said they cost over 1,000 dollars (United States) for two teeth, but thats really difficult to believe...a rip off actually! Thanks

Yes, they really do cost that much.
It can range anywhere from $700 to over $2000 per tooth, depending on the prep work that must be done and such.

Dental insurance sometimes covers the first $1000 of dental work done per year, but you have to factor in the cost of co-pays as well.

I don't know why you're looking to get veneers (Lumineers being a more expensive version, I believe, because its a different process), but there are alternatives for many cases. I fell off my bike and cracked my front tooth in half. It only cost my parents $250 to have bonding material shaped and bonded to my tooth, and it looks completely natural. Pretty cheap compared to Lumineers :]
