If you shave really often or if you sweat a lot, it can cause them to get dark. (try shaving every other day and see if it helps?)

However, this could be something more serious. Dark underarms can be a symptom of diabetes. If it runs in your family, you may want to go to a doctor to get it checked out.

Well if you shave often, it causes your armpits to appear dark because of the ingrown hair. Try waxing, at first it is quite painful but gradually it will be more comfortable. Also try putting on a mixture of apple and lemon juice (Fresh not store bought) and apply onto your armpits for about ten minutes a day for as long as you want. It should help. Also don't use hair removal products! Hope I helped. :)
