stealing

Question Posted Thursday August 13 2009, 1:48 pm

I know someone who was caught stealing. Now they have to tell the person they stole from something that will make them believe they would never do it again. It has to be convincible. Has to prove to the person that they deserve a second chance!!! help!!! They are relying on me!

To be honest, they don't even sound like they're sorry for stealing in the first place. If they're going to someone else to help think up a convincing apology, how sorry do you think they really are? They're probably not sorry in the slightest bit.

Honestly, tell this person to handle it on their own. It is not your place to help them get out of something that could've been prevented. They're not sorry so they need to deal with the consequences.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. They don't deserve a second chance, so don't help them get one.

well you have ask yourself/the person-will they ever do it again? and what was their reasoning for stealing in the first place?
if they are truely sorry and will not do it again then they need to explain that and do something to show how sorry they really are-such as offer help with something or buy whoever they stole from some lunch or a nice gift

i have had people steal from me. a girl i knew recently stole my perfume and i found it in her purse. i called her out on it and she seemed really sorry and explained she must have accidentally put in her purse after using it. i did forgive her and she has yet to do anything bad like that or steal from me again. if she ever did something like that though i would really knoew she wasnt sorry in the first place. know what i mean?

just as long as they really are sorry and wont do it again things should be fine. everything in life works its course for the better anyway!
