my computer wont let me play sims 3 what do i do!

i bought sims 3 a couple of days ago and i was really exited to play the game.
I installed it and it was loading and the graphics were really bad!.. i checked my computer on www.canyourunit.com and it said i have intel(R)celeron(R)CPU2.53 ghz . and im ment to have (XP)2.oGhz P4 processor or equivalent;(vista)2.4GHz P4 processor or equivalent ect. it said i passed on the CPU speed but didnt on the system ram i have 510 MB but i need (XP)1 GB RAM; (vista) 1.5GB RAM (if built in graphics then add o.5 GB additional RAM).

i passed on the operating system but not on the video card. im ment to have 128MB video card ect.


and it recommended all these iteams it either said buy a new $1000 computer.. or buy $300 worth of... items and even then it wont be as good..??
idk what to do!

That's what you need to do. You can't play the game without a better computer. You need to either buy a new computer with the required specs, or add hardware onto your computer to make it good enough.

I can't give you specific recommendations without a model number for your motherboard, but it will probably cost only $150-200 for the necessary hardware. If you can't install the hardware yourself, though, it will cost several hundred additional dollars for installation.
