Cheap diet?

Question Posted Wednesday July 29 2009, 4:22 pm

Im a 21 yr old female and I live on my own. Im not fat in the least bit, Im just not as thin as I used to be and I dont like my stomach or arms anymore. I have a real bad habit of eating alit of junk food because I always could without gaining weight. But now I am gaining weight and I need to stop. I want some advice on cheap diets I could go on. Healthy food is more expensive alot of the time and since I live on my own I dont have all the money in the world to spend since I have other bills. What are some cheaper diets or healthier food that I can get to help me lose some weight? I only want to lose maybe 15 pounds. Thanks!

Believe me, cheap diet's are not the way to go. They have meals you can buy in the store..such as, Lean Cuisine, Weight Watcher's, etc. Look around, and I'm sure you'll find something! They're usually not that expensive either. Make sure, when you buy food, to always look at the nutrition facts! Make sure calories are not too high, and make sure the same goes for carbs and sugars. Drink plenty of water also. Water helps because when you drink very cold water often, your body has to work to warm it up to your body temperature which usually ends up burning some calories. It may not be many calories, but anything helps. Metabolism changes as we get older, which would explain why you started gaining weight when you eat junk food. It's not bad to eat just food once in a while..but make sure you don't eat too much. Cut down how much you eat for lunch and dinner. And, remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! So, try not to skip that. Eat fruit and veggies once in a while too. You can also exercise at home. People always think they need a gym, but you don't! You can do 15-20 sit-up's (strengthen's abs) at night, and leg-lifts (Which is when you lay down, lift one leg at a time and lower it down. do as many at 15-20)..and eventually (doesn't happen over night) you'll see results with your stomach because both of those help the stomach! For your arms..you can buy 5-10 pound (or more) weight's. They have weights that are small, and not expensive like the larger weight's. This example is not what you NEED to buy, it's just an idea of the size weight's I was talking about for your arms! [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Work hard, stay focused, and I'm sure you'll get the result's you want. :)

Don't go on a cheap diet, they don't work. Most of the time you end fatter than you started. Start a healthy lifestyle instead.Instaed of buying junk food buy healthy food. Healthy food does not always mean expensive. It's all a matter of choices. Don't buy chips, buy popcorn. Don't buy soda buy flavored water. Buy fruit instaed of candy. Also do situps and pushups to help your problem areas. Walking helps to reduce weight and is great for your heart. Here are some sites that promote a healthy lifesyle.
