what does spotting mean when a girl is on her period and is it usually brown or red?

spotting is when its not really a full flow, just a little bit of blood here and there ... like towards the beginning or end of your period and it can be either brown or red depending on different curcumstances

Spotting is totally normal. When the blood is brown or red, it might just mean your period is ending. But like I said, it's totally normal :)

nothing. brown blood is dry blood and that usually happens when your flow is slow. red is blood that hasnt had the time to dry out before it left your body.
