tomorrow i am going to a nutrition appointment and i'm nervous I don't want to look at the scale because i'm 15 and very overweight i'm not diabetic but i just want to know what exactly do they do during a nutrition appointment do they weigh you ?

Maybe give some free advice about: Nutrition? vanity-fairx answered Monday July 20 2009, 3:53 pm: *i read your feedback. in all honesty, i am the exact same way. the only way you can help yourself is to look at the numbers and thing how you can make that to a health number. seriously, i was almost 200 pounds a few years ago. i stopped drinking soda altogether, not even diet. i still only drink water, unsweetened ice tea, and other drinks that dont have any calories. i went vegetarian and i think thats helping my heart tremendously. i dont eat chips or anything deep fried. and if i do its once maybe every 3 months. start eating more fruits and vegetables. also whole grains and fiber. go take a look at the food pyramid on the governments website and then set a healthy meal plan either on the internet or with the help of a doctor. take small steps toward exercise. walk 10 minutes everday 3-6 times a day, maybe 4 times a week. and when i say walk its not like a walk in the park, its a fast paced walk, speed walk. get a bike. i've been using that since the begining of july, i havent seen results yet but the numbers on the scale keep getting lower, slowly but surely. you can help yourself if you put your mind to it.
