How to install Sims 3

Question Posted Wednesday July 8 2009, 4:18 pm

I just bought the Sims 3 game and I wanted to install it onto my computer. I inserted the first disk into the computer but nothing popped up on my computer like I thought it should. I mean, there's nothing to click to get the installation started or anything, right? What am I doing wrong? How can I install the Sims 3 if my computer doesn't pop the information up?

Go into the Start Menu.
Click "Run."
A box will click up, and there will be options.
Click "Browse."
Then click "My Computer."
From there you should see the The Sims 3 Icon in the disk drive you inserted it in.
Double click on it, and the installation should start. If this doesn't work, let me know!
