I'm just following up with you. I'm the person who needs to keep hydrated at the race track. This event is the Indycar race in Toronto in July. Security people check bags constantly here.
They won't allow any kind of bags, bottles, cans in at all. I've seen them take stuff off of people. I can get an exemption but I need a doctor's note. I'm not going to waste time doing that.
They sell bottled water for obscene prices there and it's a crummy sized bottle at that. I need those big ones or an idea on how to buy the tiny ones and not spend a fortune on them as they seldom cut it.
There is one air conditioned building within steps of my seat. If they have water fountains perhaps I can get away with refilling the bottles. I'm not cheap but I don't like paying over $5 a bottle when the bottle is the size of those small individual sized coke bottles with the red tops. I guess you can get my drift.
The concession foods are even smaller than the conventional pizza slice size here. It's incredible but the racing is usually great.

Our track did that the first year. They haven't since. Of course you can't count on that. I don't blame you though, I wouldn't pay that for water either.
Our track does have a few...lets call them REAL restrooms. Complete with running water in the sink.
The refilling a bottle may be your best bet. You may even be able to bring your own empty bottle in.
Might be worth a shot.
Seems those places always overprice everything. Its just ridiculous.
Enjoy the races! You will have a blast I know! :) ]
