best friend love

Question Posted Saturday June 13 2009, 10:02 am

I too really like my best friend, and we went out, and broke up but somehow I still cannot get over him. after the breakup things bounced back to normal you could say, and I wasn't as heartbroken as I am now. Lately things have been different. He hasn't made any effort to try to talk to me at all. What do you think I should do? I really need your help. This hurts both from a liking point, and loosing a best friend point.

I think you should move on. If he isn't making any effort to be your friend, why should you make the effort to be his? Friendship is a two way street. If he isn't willing to try, then you shouldn't either.

Send him a message seeing what's up and see if things change. If not, let the friendship fizzle out because it isn't worth the energy if you're not getting back what you're putting in.
