Both of those drugs are known to cause fatigue, yet in only some people. It varies from person-to-person. I am on Citalopram, too, and the stuff makes me drowsy.

The thing they recommended me to do was to take the medication during dinner before bedtime, every day, instead of taking it in the morning. The problem was resolved doing that. Go to your clinic and ask if you can just switch the schedule of taking it. If they turn your request down, just do it anyway. You're still getting the same effects, you're just taking it at a different time; that's all.

It won't hurt because I am an undergraduate medical student, and I have been to doctor appointments left-and-right about my prescriptions. I used to take Zypreza and Hydroxozine HCl, which is known to cause fatigue (as well as Celexa/Citolopram), so she suggested I take them in the evenings instead of the morning.

If you are already taking them in the evenings, try taking them earlier in the evening like before dinner. If that's not possible in any way, I would suggest going to a different mental health clinic. They're all different. If it's needed, I'll help you look for another one in your area.

I hope I helped and good luck.

Leah
