outta state boyfriend
my bf lived here when we started dating. went away for college and i cheated on him. he found out and we stayed together to make it work. some days were good, some not so good. we broke-took one day breaks on and off. we have broken up for good now because he thinks i just lie all the time. he said id get a fresh start. i never did get it. i want to go visit him this weekend but what can i say to make him reconsider, not think bad of me or just get us back together. when we are together, we are extremly happy. this is a bit of the huge problem bc im going this weekend and cant describe the little details so please please all and any good advice would help!

Wow! What an intresting story, and hard predicament. First, I would make sure you REALLY want to get back together with him. I know you are probably thinking "Wha? OF COURSE I DO!" but really, take some time to make sure that everything with you is on the up and up, before you add another person to the mix (for example: are you looking to this relationship because you feel empty? Or do you actually love him?) It will be hard to think un biasedly because this guy, if you like him, is bound to be amazing.
So, lets say you are really ready for this relationship. How do you win him back? Lets do this thing :D
First, disconnect from him. Okay, every dating site on earth will tell you this. But really it is quite true, how does he know he needs you if he hasn't had to suffer with out you? I don't know how often you guys see eachother, so this step might already be taken care of.
Next, BE the person he fell in love with. You said somedays were better, others worse. How were you on those better days? Don't tell him, but SHOW him that you ARE that person.
Now, Remember those quirky, cute, little things about his personality or taste? Find a way to slip them in. Make him feel like you are similar, like you could be companions.
Next, allow yourselves time to hang out together. Get friends and go to dinner, play a game of golf, do something that you can both enjoy, but catch up at the same time.
Lastly, tell him part of how you feel. DON'T tell him you want to clean the slate or something cliche like that. These things will only remind him of the hardships you had previous. Tell him that you have been thinking of him, and that you are intrested in giving it another shot. You might want to start slow, ask him out for another night. Don't jump into a relationship right away!

When trust its broken in a relationship, its extremely hard to repair. But it can be done. In this situation I think its less about what you say and more about what you do. Of course you want to tell him that he never has to worry about you going astray again but also let him see that you are now and always will be faithful to him. Even though you are in a long distance relationship there are tons of nice things you can do.
-if you have a social networking site such as a facebook or myspace page. post a picture of him on your page along with a couple sentences or a paragraph about how special he is to you.
-send him letters through the mail and spray it with your favorite perfume and put a picture(s) of you two that you have
-when you go visit him this weekend give him a keepsake. something that is of value to you. such as a necklace, a bear from child hood, a special photo,etc.
