Sims Life Stories troubles

Ok so I've had the sims life stories for awhile and I played it alot before but then I stopped and now I wanted to play it again but when I click it, it says something like "Cannot find directx 9.0 anywhere on your computer" or something like that. What should I do? I don't understand this. Thanks so much!

Try re-downloading it. I also found a free download for DirectX 10, which should work, too. Go here to download it: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)


If that doesn't work, try looking on the sims website through their help pages.
