Whenever I try to read or study for school, I get so sleepy that my eyes have a hard time focusing on the words and I can barely stay awake. I used to think I was just sleepy to begin with so I'd try to take a nap and then get back to studying, but when I quit reading/studying I'm not sleepy anymore. Sure enough though, as soon as I try to start up again I get sleepy! I've tried drinking a caffienated soda while I studying; I always study sitting up, never lying down or anything, and I've always got plenty of light, but none of that seems to make any difference. Does anyone know why this happens or have any suggestions to fix it?

canada2011 answered Saturday April 4 2009, 10:37 pm: Truth is school just may not be interesting to you. Thaty's normal the only thing you can do is study as soon as you get him. Study in the kitchen or around some noise. Don't study in a quiet room. Turn on some music or something. Don't study for long periods of time. Study for 20 or 30 mins, then take a break. It's normal to do this everyone does it. [ canada2011's advice column | Ask canada2011 A Question ]
