last year it crashed after my brother put in a corrupt cd that screwed everything and resulted in lost data!!!
I managed to move on *sniff* but i am begining to worry again... My mac is piled with sooo many things i am not sure how to clean it up... The guy who restored it (at the apple shop) didn't remove the back up files he left (which i was supposed to move to my main drive) anyway so now i have a feeling that my mac is full of junk i don't need and i am wasting so much valuable memory!!! is there a simple easy to use novice friendly app that i could use to get rid of unnecessary files i don't use???
if you guys can't figure it out is there a forum you would recommend that i should ask???

I have a MacBook but honestly I don't know. There's a lot of knowledgeable people on that forum who can help you. Hope this helped!
Once I had like 85 documents on my MacBook, and I just dragged and dropped from Documents Folder to Trash all of the ones that I didn't need then emptied the trash. Then, I sifted and hunted through a lot of the other folders, and if I found an unneeded document, I trashed it. It seemed to have helped- my Mac is going faster already!
