old flame -- friends

Question Posted Wednesday March 18 2009, 7:48 pm

so me and my best friend started hanging out with my old flame from middle school about 2 months ago. she lives next door to him so thats why we all hung out together. we hung out in january and we didnt have much to say to eachother because we were both (me and the boy) really nervous, but we watched a movie. now, prom is coming up and he didnt know who to ask and my friend suggested me and he said he would like to take me because of like the history we have .. but he wants to hang out first to see if its weird .. soo on friday were hanging out .. me, my best friend, and him. and we wanna do something so we will have a lot to talk about, and so it wont be awkward. does anyone know what we can all do together & some topics we can talk about? i wanna make it as awkward as possible and keep the conversation going!

I have come across this question many times. First, it is important that you acknowledge why you actually like this individual. Secondly, It may be very weird, but if both individuals (you and him) are mature enough, you will get passed all that. Great topics to discuss would be..... What future plans may be, talk about beliefs on sexuality and religion overall, talk about sex, when I say talk about sex I don't mean get freaky with it, but have a sophisticated conversation about sex, base it on personal opinions about sex, etc. When in a situation like this it is important to not act just like friends, both of you should look at it as something higher. Prom is going to be one of your most memorable life experience, therefore remember to HAVE FUN.....!!! Hope I have answered your question, and I would like to know if I was good assistance to you, so please inform me with progress. Thanks. -Scott-
