I didn't want to split this up into many questions because it would take up too much space over there ---------------------->
Plus they're all basically in the same category :)
Ok, so this summer, as most summers for me are, is a time for change :) I want a new hair cut and a new style. I used to be and kinda still am into the whole graphic tee's, skinny jeans, and converse look but I'm starting to edge out of it a little. I used to be really uncomfortable about my body, but now I've learned to not really care what other people think, as I can still be fashionable without being stick skinny :) so, basically I just want a cool place, preferably online, to get some cute, school-ish summer-y clothes that aren't fancy, but they aren't just t-shirts and stuff. Like Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, and Forever 21 :) I don't like dresses too much, but I'm open to many suggestions for some cool, "in" summer styles :D
As for the hair, I used to/still do have scene-ish hair. I don't tease it though, it just has a LOT of layers and goes over one of my eyes. It's currently a light brownish blonde color and goes just below my boobs. I know short hair is in for the summer, so what color/style do you think I should get it done? :)here's a pic of me, just incase you need one:
Oh yeah, and I'd prefer to leave my bangs where they are haha I have a really bad bump nose that you can see at any angle other then the one in the picture, and my bangs kindof help hide that :) so yeah, hair suggestions would be fabulous!
And my third question; what is some good tanning lotion/sun block? I tend to get very sunburned (especially on my cheeks and nose) and I'd rather that be a tan :)
Thank you all so so so SOOO much! I'll rate all answers :D
Your hair is really cute by the way as it is. BUT! If you want something different which is what you asked for then I'd say cut it to an inch or two below your chin. Your bangs will flow into the rest of it and I just think it'll look really cute. And there's a product called SunIn that lightens your hair and brings out natural highlights using sunlight or a blow dryer. It'll change your hair color without having to dye it and it'll still look natural.
3rd question-Sorry but I can't help you because I have the same problem and I'm still looking for a solution. I'm somewhere between paper white and off white. Very Irish skin color. Haha, so I burn really badly. [ modelkate11's advice column | Ask modelkate11 A Question ]
maddiec123 answered Friday March 6 2009, 11:27 am: I love love love Urban Outfitters. Shop on-line and you will find some great deals. For summer I like sheer shirts with a print with a tank or shelf bra underneath. H&M is a cheaper alternative. You should also check out karmaloop, freepeople, topshop, dorothyperkins, shanalogic, etsy, heritage1981, delias, and alloy online.
Your bangs look great - grow them out a little more so that sideways sweep you do is a little more dramatic. I would also suggest partial highlights for summer - it sets off a tan and you are almost blond already.
Search on 'Bob' haircuts. They started getting popular last year, and continue to be. There are a lot of variations. Look for something edgy with a lot of fringe. Tony & Guy hair salons are good with that type of cut if you have one around.
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock is an excellent sunscreen for your face. It lasts a long time. No-Ad Sunblock doesn't last as long, but still rated highly and is cheaper. Neutrogena Active Breathable Sunblock is similar to Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, except that it is more water- and sweat-resistant.
