14/f: How much does it cost to replace a LOST learners permit??

Question Posted Sunday February 15 2009, 10:39 pm

Long story short, I lost my Learners Permit MONTHS ago and I just told my mom a few days ago that it's missing. She told me to look for information on how to get a new one, and how much it would cost me.
I live in Kansas, but any information from other states will work too. Thanks!
Oh, and I still have the paper version of your permit that they give you the day you take the test. It expired back in October (I took the test at the beginning/middle of August) but I still have it in my wallet. I also lost my high school ID (I'm not unorganized, but it was with my permit...)
Please let me know if you have ANYTHING to share on the subject!!!

To make things easier, and instead of waiting around the internet for unsure answers, call up your local DMV or just show up and ask. Have your information (such as what you listed above) available if they want to ask you anything on the matter.

I do believe you just got to DMV. Provide proof that you are you(birthdate, name, etc.) and it usually cost about $11.00
