Applying for tv show?

Question Posted Tuesday February 10 2009, 1:34 am

Wasn't sure what category this would go under, so I apologize if I am wrong.
Anyways, I browsed around the TLC website trying to find a place to apply for your own t.v show, and I couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know where you could apply?
My dad is a paraplegic and I thought it would never hurt to try out for a show for him, with his permission. I doubt anything would come of it but, who knows.
THANKS :].

Well it's depending where you are living. I used to live in texas and there was nothing about being on tv shows unless you wanted to travel. now i am currently living in LA and looking for a job on craigslist and they have a section on jobs that says something like tv/show and click there and it will have numerous things to choose from. In LA there is a lot of auditions for shows on craigslist and such, but depending on where you live maybe there will be something. good luck!
