I don't know if there is an actual way of doing that, but guys love a girl who have the confidence to say so, even if its meek. I would suggest going to a movie or even taking him to a park to explore or something, with just the 2 of you, and not nesscarly saying you love him, but mention that you find him intresting and you want to know more about him. Don't be afraid of him, he's just a normal human being as you are. And don't be afraid to ask questions, the more you know about him and the more he knows about you the better relationship you guys will have. Take you time with it to, you don't have to rush it, if it was ment to happen it will.
I wish you the best of luck and i hope love prevails,
Edit:
What I mean is you actually have to own up and tell the guy you like him. Guys are horrible at guessing games. Don't be nervous look him in the eyes and tell him straight out.
P.S Hint: If you get to scared, step back and breathe for a second, remember, fear is only created by the mind, If you don't take chances you'll never open your opertunities.
