In Missouri legal limit for window tint is any darkness on rear windows, rear passenger and driver windows. but limit is 35% on the front passenger and driver side window. and on the windshield any darkness on the visor.
my question is, how do people get away with 5% every where around? (except the windshield), or do they just get pulled over all the time for too dark of tint?

I read that in Missouri, you need to get a doctor's note with their printed name and signature, and your medical condition that would require tinted windows. Then take that note to the state police and they will accept or decline your request for legally tinted windows.
So if you're paranoid about getting caught, call up the state police and see what they say. If not, just hope they don't pull you over. [ denialsam's advice column | Ask denialsam A Question ]
