discharge thicker than usual

Question Posted Saturday January 24 2009, 5:08 pm

so i had sex with protection a few days ago with my boyfriend, and the condom didnt break or anything but he muffed me. He was a little rough therefore my vagina muscle outside n clitoris was quite painful for a few days and i also got some brownish discharge, i dont really know if it was bloody.. Just very little discharge. And now its become yellow again, a light yellow, not exactly off white as i use to have, and slightly thicker than the usual.. And it smells a little stronger than before..
please dont advice me to go to a doctor, because its not an option right now.. Maybe a doctor whose also an advisor on this sight can help too.. Im getting quite worried! Its been four days since the night we had sex. Thank you..

Hello I would like to start off by saying rough intercourse makes you more prone to vaginal infections due to microscopic vaginal scarring and or cervical bruising. From your symptoms I would say you may have a vaginal infection..may I ask how long have you been having these symptoms?and have the symptoms been consistent daily?. I need to know this simply because it may be a vaginal infection or if may just be your bodies adaptation process. When your body is introduced to new things it tries its best to adapt to its best abilities to protect itself from harm.Do not panic or worry if it is in fact a vaginal infection, dozens of womens have vaginal infections maybe once or more in their lifetime,it is usually not related to sex just to bacteria, they are fairly common. These vaginal infections are also highly treatable, they can be treated with a store bought antifungal cream and or antibiotics. You cannot however use just any vaginal infection medicine,it has to correlate with your symptoms:)so there is nothing to worry about I am sure that whatever is going on it is not serious. If you have any further questions, comments,or concerns I am here, do not hesitate to contact me..if it is really personal you can e-mail me. I hope this was helpful and keep an eye out on what your symptoms are specifically..I wish you the best of luck:) SINCERLY,DIAMOND:)
