straightening hair. I never get the whole sectioning hair properly. I bought clips and stuff to seperate my hair into sections yet it still is messy. They always seem to fall out and either blow drying or flat ironing dont give me that flat results even though my hair is straight. I want to get rid of the puffy look cause it looks so funny on me. My mom is getting annoyed at me buying all these different products. When I dry it its too hot even on low.

What I do (which works better than any type of clips) is tie the hair that I'm not working with with a ponytail holder. It holds better and when you finish with that section, just let some more hair down. Also, only straighten about in inch of hair at a time. So, tie up the hair that you're not working with, and from that, pull aside about an inch or an inch and half..maybe even two inches depending on the type of hair you have.
You also need to buy some hair serum. If you have a Sally Beauty Supply near you, get some Proclaim glossing polish with olive oil. It works AMAZINGG! but don't use too much because it's made for African American hair so you only need a little. Otherwise it'll make your hair greasy. If you don't have a Sally's let me know so I can tell you some other good brands :). Just don't use anything with alcohol.
And I'm just wondering..what kind of straightener do you have? That might have an impact on it as well. ]
