Myrrha answered Friday January 16 2009, 8:12 pm: find an opportunity to just say hi as you walk by him. You can bring up something from the class that you found difficult, like "I'm really having a hard time with this algebra equation, think you could help me with it a minute?" Even if he says no, or doesn't have time, he at least knows you notice him, and that is a start. I think you'll find it suprising that once you just walk up and say hi, it is not as scary as you think it to be. If you want to be a little more bold, you can say hi to him and compliment his shirt or something, and give him a little smile and just walk away. Guys like a little flirting, it makes them feel good about themselves and its fun. Come out of your shell a little and take a chance, you only go through high school once. :) [ Myrrha's advice column | Ask Myrrha A Question ]
