w-4 ?

what should i claim on my w-4 for my allowances? 0 or 1? i use to claim 1 and i got more money but my mom said i should put 0 but now it seems like they take a looot more money out and i dont like it? i work around 18 hours a week and im just a teenager working as a hostess at a restaurant. but i dont know which is better to claim?

You should claim an allowance.

If you were making more money, you might want to let them take out more because you will belong in a higher tax bracket (and lose a larger percentage)

But with your job, 1 allowance will still put in more than you'll be paying, so you'll get a piddly little refund come tax season.
