Hey, im 16f. Ever since I was really little my thumbs have always been able to pop out in the carpa metacarpal area. My mom used to wrap my thumbs so that they wouldnt pop out since my thumbs would hurt just from doing everyday things. I havn't wrapped my thumbs for years now, even though my thumbs still pop out lots naturally. Now, when I notice soreness the most is when I am doing something that puts pressure specifically on that spot, Such as: whenever I am writing in school, or sanding a wood project in shop class, my thumbs get sore and start to throb, and whenever I move my thumb a certain way I can feel a sharp pain in that area. I can let my thumbs rest for a while and the pain goes away, but then if I write again or something then the pain comes back. What I was wondering is if you know of a thumb brace that I can wear just when I am doing activities I know will make my thumbs throb, and that I can buy by using a check (if it was on the internet). One such as this one (see full size image please): [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) or the one that is called the: Thermoskin® Flexible Thumb Splint, would be ones that I would like to find. Or if you know of a way I could make my own, it would be much appreciated. Thanks :)
