The Child Law states that kids under 16 can not get hired unless it is a family owned business and/or a farm. Now as the girl under me said, she works as a pet person. Chances are she gets paid under the table bc if she were to get a pay check, her boss would get in trouble bc she is under 16. For all that, I can't suggest a place to get "hired" bc there isn't. If your parent knows an owner of a business (good friends with them) see if they will ask them if they have some jobs around the office or something that needs done. You more then likely won't get paid much, but if you do it everyday, it'll add up!! [ hollister_lover09's advice column | Ask hollister_lover09 A Question ]

Even though I'm just an assistant, it really pays off, because I made nearly $200 in my first 7 days. When looking for a job, think of your interests and what your skills are. I got my job because I own two show dogs that I have to groom regularly, so I was used to the grooming environment. Plus, my boss has show dogs as well. I think it really helps to know about your boss a little before you start, because if you share skills/interests, it will probably help. Anyway, just look for something you both want to do that fits your personality and skills. Don't settle for some boring job at the local grocery store; be creative! It pays off. Good luck to the both of you! =3
