Where can you learn about childbirth and lamaze without taking the classes? My mom is having another baby and she wanted to take those childbirth/lamaze classes this time around. She said she wanted to do a completely drug free birth and thought the classes would better prepare her for it.
Well, her midwife told her that she'd have to wait until she was 36 weeks pregnant to attend the childbirth classes. She's now almost 38 weeks pregnant and the hospital told her that her midwife gave her wrong information! The hospital says there are no more spaces in the childbirth class and that she was suppose to take the classes a lot sooner--like, before 36 weeks even!
Anyway, my mom feels totally unprepared and is very distressed. She doesn't know where she can go to the classes at. Is there another option for her? I was thinking maybe a book or something that she could review herself and practice so she is prepared for the drug free delivery? I don't know how we'd find it or anything or if there is even something out there that could help her.
Please, if someone knows something, let us know! My mom is REALLY upset and nervous!

the only thing I can think of is getting a movie like the 'miracle of life' because they interview the mom and everything or on tlc they have 'baby stories' hope I helped a little (: ]
