I know this is really random... its for story im writing
When the twin towers were hit what did they do with the people on the subways? did they evacuate them to go up into the dust filled city with falling buildings, or did they leave them underground until it was safe?

I don't know for sure what happend because I wasn't there when this happend. I pretty sure that the people on the subways stayed underground but were put off the subway bus. I mean, It wouldn't make sense if they went up in all the dust and fallen buildings. thanks for your question!
