im 18 years old. about 5'5 and currently lost weight, out of no where? i now weigh 109 lbs. i've been trying so hard to gain it back but i keep losing it, probably because my eating schedule is messed up. i was just wondering though, does fast food make you sad and depressed? or can it? because since i don't like alot of stuff, my mom never knows what to buy and she will just get me fast food because i love it haha. i eat it probably 2-3 times a week, but i don't know how i'm losing the weight. i know it's bad for you but i'm always tired, always feeling down and never happy, never feel motivated and i don't really drink soda, i drink alot of water and juices. i don't know what to eat though, because i'm always hungry! thank you :)

The term "you are what you eat" is pretty right on. Fast food has basically no nutrition and is filled with sugar. Your body and mind needs certain vitamins to thrive and sugar gives you a quick high and then you crash. As to you being thin..you probably just have a really high metabolism and those "empty" calories get burned right up. My boyfriend eats more fast food than you and still goes through periods of losing weight from his already stick thin frame. Start trying new foods, eating three meals a day with snacks. you could get healthier fast food too. You could have your mom pick up sandwiches from a sandwich shop, or get take-out from a healthy Mexican or Thai or Indian restaurant. Many grocery stores have salad and soup bars.
