Question Posted Thursday November 20 2008, 2:43 pm
so.. for the past week and a half i haven't been able to sleep. i mean, i've always had trouble with sleeping at night (not being able to fall asleep.. i have adhd) but i've been having really bad dreams. also, i haven't been eating much at all and i've lost about 5 pounds. a lot of people have noticed me being tired at school. and my mom and best friend said that it looks like i've lost weight. could this be from stress? or being worried? (i've been somewhat scared lately because my boyfriend and i have started talking about having sex for the first time)
i'm 16 and am a female. i'm 5'6" and weigh 115, and don't really want to lose much more wight, at all.
Try to eat even if you don't feel particularly hungry. Or even if it upsets your stomach.
If you keep eating less, it may eventually get difficult for you keep any food down.
I don't know what can be done about bad dreams, sorry.
But if you're afraid of having sex, I'd tell the boyfriend why.
You think that's all he wants from you?
Afraid of getting pregnant? STD?
You'd rather wait?
You're scared about pain?

hope that helped :] [ erinbrbo's advice column | Ask erinbrbo A Question ]
