I need Gamecube Help!

Question Posted Thursday November 13 2008, 10:34 am

Okay, I was just wondering if there's any way at all to attach a Gamecube to a Mac and use the computer as the monitor. Also, what are your favorite Gamecube games?

Hi there,

I was banning the person who answered this before me when I noticed your question. There is a way to do this. In fact there are several ways to use your computer monitor with the nintendo gamecube, playstation 1-2-3 or xbox/xbox360. The answers are the same for any system that normally connects to a TV.

The first option would be a TV tuner for the computer. In your case that would need to be Mac compatible and I know just the tv adapter for you:

The EyeTV 250 Plus:

... and the second way to do this is with a little box called a video to VGA upscaling Converter... among other things.

Here is an eBay search for the Geniatech V2VPro:

... which looks to have the most functionality for the money... AND doesn't care if it is hooked to a Mac or a PC.

Better late than never, right?
