And they will put in a pair of contacts for you. So youll put your head back and the person will put it in. Then they will ask you to put the other one in. I wear contacts and for me it seems lik all solutions bother my eyes so i wash it in solution but let it sit in water, which isnt recommended but whatever. Also i sleep with them in which has caused me no problem though they arent the kind to be slept with. And no they wont get stuck to your eye. If you sleep with them on when you wake up your eye might be a little shut and maybe a little red and dry feeling but once they start getting moist and you get some water on them their fine. And after doing it for days you wake up like normal. [ OhMyPEACHYKEEN's advice column | Ask OhMyPEACHYKEEN A Question ]
es answered Saturday November 8 2008, 11:26 pm: well when you're at the doctor, he'll give you the regular eye test, some air in the eye etc. He'll prescribe you contacts and show you how to put them in. The only hassle is putting them in and out every day. They have to be taken out every night before going to sleep, or else part of the eye will deteriorate and also, they need to be cleaned after you take them out because bacteria gets stuck on the contacts.
So every night you'd have to remove them and clean them. Every morning you'd re-clean their container that they're placed in over night, and put them in.
You get used to it.
There are risks to wearing contacts such as if you don't take care of your eyes and give them rests from contacts or stop removing them nightly, the bacteria accumilated will stay in your eye and it ends up badly with infections and irritations and possibly blindness. you have to be extremely careful and not neglect taking care of your eyes while wearing them, other than that, you'll be fine.
