why do ppl use foil when they dye their hair?
also, i wanna get high lights i AM A BRUINETTE and i want lighter highlights on the sides of my hair near my ears and also like little random big ones stripes on the bangs part.. how do i achievee this!

If I were you, I'd have a hairstylist do it for you because if you mess up, then you're stuck with that for a little while and that sucks. They'll determine what looks good on you, etc. Just explain to them what you want. =]

People use foil when they highlight their hair for a more natural look. Use a dye brush some highlight kits come with a little wand or a comb to make thin highlights. Use your fingers and grab chunks of hair & put it on the pieces you want.
