So single
Theres a boy I think I like, who is a bit interested in me. I just don't know how to get him to definetly like me. We've "known" eachother since elementry school and now we're sophmores in high school, but we were never actually friends. I see him everyday and we don't really talk and I'm sorta bad at conversation with people I don't know well enough. I've been single practically all my life and it doesn't make much sence- everybody tells me its because im a beautiful young confident black female that causes the problme. For a teenager, its pretty hard to find girls like me apperantly, because I'm not ghetto, I'm smart- almost nerdy smart, I was homecoming princess, I'm captain of the jv cheerleading at my school and I know alot of people, so I'm pretty well off. This guy is a varsity football player, which in our school is amazing for a sophmore, so people think we would look cute together. Any advice on how to reel him in, or how to get other guys to not be intimidated asking me out? I've had many guys that have liked me and tried to ask me out, and when I say no they get mean and obnoxious (typically the ghetto african americans im not friends with, they think I think im better than them, which I dont because ive tried so hard to be their friend and they shun me.. but thats another story.) Now I don't know what to do because this guy isn't like that, but I don't want any drama. Thanks!
