Hair always looks oily

Question Posted Saturday October 18 2008, 8:41 am

My hair always looks dirty. Even right after I wash it. It's too oily and occasionally I get flakes.

I got recommended many dandruff shampoos, but they only worked for a while.

What shampoo and conditioner should I use?

You should use a clarifying shampoo once a week & not too much conditioner, if your hair gets tangled use a detangler ,your scalp is probably dry thats why you are getting flakes, only wash your hair every other day.

Hope I helped ! xo

I have really fine hair and very oily skin. Before I started dying my hair... I would use a daily clarifying shampoo and skip the conditioner. Pantene Pro-V makes an excellent daily clarifying shampoo. If your hair becomes TOO dry, try a conditioner made specifically for fine-oily hair.

My hair is the same.

When I started using Herbal Essences: Degunkify(tingling deep cleaning shampoo) and Herbal Essences: Drama Clean.

When using the shampoo work it thoroughly through your hair, if you rinse it and it's not sqeaky repeat. As for the conditioner it is safe to use a large amount, just make sure to rinse it all out with lukewarm water and then chilly water.

This helped me, enjoy!
