Question Posted Tuesday September 30 2008, 10:45 pm

Why do I keep pushing people away from me when I used to be friends with them.I was friends with this girl Kathy on and off for years. We are friends one day the next day we are not friends. How do I give up on her and forget about her.It gotten to the point I am on medication for my mood swings and control my urge to contact her.I am seeing a doctor for this problem. What else can I do.

I think that you need to take it slow..forgetting about a friend doesn't happen overnight.A good idea would be to get another friend and become good friends with that person, that way you wont have your mind on Kathy the whole time. Or when you get the urge to contact her, call someone else or go hang out with some other people...do that long enough and you should see some results. Hope I could be some help to you =]
