So whenever I have my period, my back hurts. Is this normal? More importantly, how do I fix it??

Yes, having back pain is very normal for the time of the month. Many females exsperience headaches, cramping, back pain, abdominal pain, tiredness, if the period is severe some people exsperience neausea it's different with every woman but yes, the back pain is a very normal symptom. Try using a heating pad and drinking some warm tea. If you don't have a heating pad place a warm cloth on the lower back.
