You can try to be friends with her first of all. Get to know her, ask her what she did over the weekend. Let her know that you are intrested in only her. Jocks usually are extremely popular with other girls, this what may be turning her off to you. Let her know that you care about her and only her. In time, she may come to like you. If not, she's not worth it.
