His best mate is hurting him

Question Posted Wednesday September 17 2008, 9:00 pm

My Son is upset because his best mate is hurting him by using karate on him they have been friends scince birth as his mum and me are friends. He is boasting that he goes to karate and my son says he will pull a joke with him and he will kick him. He is fed up of it and wants his good old buddy back before he started karate. should i interfere by going to the teacher or telling his mum or should i leave him to sort it out for himself bearing in mind he asked me for help and advice?

Hmm good question.

If your son came to you and asked you if you could step in, then sure- step in. Talk to your friend and see if she can get her son to stop the karate moves.

If not, then maybe wait until your son does come to you and ask for your help.

If it's getting to the point where it's upsetting you and your son hasn't come to you yet, you should mention it to your friend.

Thanks for inboxing =]
