in love with best friend who lives out of town

17/f one of my very best friends is a guy, we went out at one point but we broke up because he lives far, far away. however i still am majorly in love with him and he knows it. i've tried to get over my feelings for him but i just can't. does this mean i am truly in love?

Well, truthfully, none of us can tell you if you are in love with him. You are the only one who knows that, my dear. However, it certainly sounds like you have very strong feelings for him, that's for sure.
