NCAA Football 2009 for XBOX.
My boyfriend just got an Xbox and NCAA football 09. We played it today a little. He's not really that great, he just knows the controls and obviously knows more than football than I do (like what play does what, what you're supposed to do on a third down, etc.). I've looked online for some basic instructions, but all I can find are cheats and that crap. I do know football well for a girl, but not for the video game, haha. I don't want to let him always beat me, just because I don't really know how to play! I'm sure that'll get old for him too after a while.
So I just want to know about the plays, general info about football, and just how to play the game better.

i'm gonna explain whats happening in the picture.
as you can see, the front line, has 2 wide recievers thats WR the lines that are coming out from teh players, is where they are supposed to go, when your playing ingame on xbox, your always the quarterback, so you have to check wehre your wr or your tight end is going on the very left side after your wr, you have your tackle. after the tackle you have the guard, then the center, who snaps the ball to the quarterback you have another guard after that, and then a tight end.
your two runing backs are lined up behind the quarterback. wide recievers generally catch passed balls and running back get the handoffs.
